This weeks literacy theme is careers and for one of the tasks is a vision of my future life, and everything that needs to be known for my future vision.
Hey, These past 2 weeks we have been doing our theme on Countries, One of our tasks we had to do an Attribute Organizer on the continents, In the Attribute Organizer we had to do, Cities in the continents, Mountain, Ocean, and 3 Interesting Facts about the place.

Kia ora, For my literacy task I have to do a poster about what the Matariki star cluster is known as in different cultures, and there name of what they go by for the Matariki star cluster.
For this task it was really easy because all you had to do was read a text to tell you about what other cultures known as for matariki and you also had to do a little research to do for yourself. So i did 4 different cultures for exsample id did japan,ahwai, china, and india.
If you want to know where i got my info from i just read this text and di research i just searched In (the counrties name) what is matariki star cluster know as.

This was a really fun task to do beacuse you had to write a letter to jacinda ardern to make matariki a public holiday and i wrote thats its only important to some moari cultures and nonmoari cultures and stuff like that.

Hey, For this literacy theme we have to do the matariki stars and the seasons about it, we had to do them in maori and english.
Kia Ora, this weeks literacy is strange and wonderful animals and for one of the task, it was to make a sign to put around beaches about the Marbled cone shell snail.
It was really fun to do this task because it was a quick and easy thing to do and all i had to do was write cautions about it and at pictures to make it look like a sign. Also the Marbled cone shell snail is very dangerous so don't pick it up will paralyze you so WARNING DO NOT TOUCH IT.
If you want anymore information about the Marbled cone shell snail they are found in the Indian and pacific oceans, the Caribbean and red seas also along the coast of Florida.

Kia Ora, this strange and wonderful animals task is a attribute organizer, You had to write down facts about strange and wonderful animals.
It was very interesting about how to find out facts about the animals for example you had to find the where its from, habitat, what it eats and three interesting facts about the animal you had to do about 5 and one example.

This week in literacy we have been learning about video games and technology. We had to create a poster about fake new and how to recognize fake news .
This litercy theme for 3 weeks is video games and on one of the tasks you had to make your own video game character and I picked a evil dog that's has all sorts of powers. It only appears when there's no danger . This is what my video game character looks like.
For the literacy theme is all in the mind and body, we had to do a word find about the brain and there where so many words o find like epilepsy, concussion, stroke, etc. I found all the words in the word find and this is what it looks like. this is my word find that i have done about the brain.

For my poster i had to add all the stuff on the boat app to tell you, like the hull length etc, I added all that stuff and added at picture, I think next time I should add more detail and picture for with the boat. This is what My poster looks now looks like 😊😊
